After years of building a career in finance and product management, an unexpected layoff gave me the chance to step back and reflect on what truly mattered. I had a choice: return to the familiar path or take a leap into something new and deeply fulfilling. I chose to leap—and it changed everything.
Like many men, I knew what it felt like to appear confident in my career but feel completely stuck in my personal life. I used to hesitate before asking for a number, overthink making the first move, or talk myself out of approaching someone I was genuinely interested in. It wasn’t that I didn’t want connection—I just didn’t know where to turn for the right guidance. I saw countless men around me struggling with the same challenges and realized there was a gap in the market: men didn’t have a trusted place to learn how to build confidence, especially in dating.
That’s why I created The Modern Gentleman Project. Today, as a certified dating coach, I’m passionate about helping other driven professionals do the same: break through barriers, build real confidence, and create meaningful relationships.
